You can now play Chapter 2 from the beginning. I came on here to ask this very question, since in the process of figuring stuff out I killed everyone except Amaya. Follow the path to the left. You will see Amaya, ask her all three questions to find out she needs a blade. Whilst looking around her cell notice the guard to the left has a key, whilst the guard to her right has a coin. To the right of her cell will be another Cobweb for you to clean Follow the path going right, back to the Fey's.

Continue along the right path until you reach the Hobblepots. Ask the Hobblepots all three questions to find out they need food in order to help you. Look around there cell and notice the Cauldron as well as a Book of Spells. To the left of there cell will be the final Cobweb, clean it to receive 'Sticky Spiderweb'. Follow the path left back to the Fey's cell. Walk along the path towards the bottom of your screen and across the bridge. Keep walking until the Goblins return you to your cell.

Pull the leaver on the right hand side of the cell to lower your bed. The Goblin guards will give you a shake down to make sure you aren't carrying any contraband. It is important to remember that they give you a shake down every night before bed.

Meaning any contraband we find must either be used that day or hidden for safe keeping. After waking up turn around and use 'Meat' on the placemat. Leave your cell and follow the path up the stairs, continue past the First Floor and up to the Second.

If you try to walk through the entrance a guard will block your way. To the left of the entrance you will see a leaver. Use 'Sticky Spiderweb' on the leaver and proceed through the opening. Walk forward to the Central Island.

Notice the Weeds at the bottom of the Goblin Ladder inside the centre column. Time to explore! Take the left path and you will come to some Outhouses. Unfortunately we don't have the means to catch a fly yet.

To your left will be a gate, try to open it to find out we will need another person. Walk right, then forward around the corner. Climb the stairs and wind the crank to your left to open the door. To your right will be a tiny door, enter it to see a grouchy Goblin Princess. In the top left corner is a Music Box , but unfortunately we don't know any Lullaby's to use on it yet.

Exit back through the door. Go right towards the green curtain for a cut scene. Walk towards the top left and enter through the middle of the curtains.

We are now backstage. Trapdoor puzzle. Walk down the stairs past your adoring fans and to the left. Follow the path down towards the bottom of your screen, go back down the ladder and right to the Central Island. Follow the path down once more and descend the stairs until you reach the First Floor. Go through the archway to where the three bridges are.

We are now strong enough to use both the cranks to lower the other two bridges. Cross the bridge to your right. The one with a small sign post depicting a Witch and follow the path to the Hobblepots. Open your inventory and use a 'Frog' on Chester. He will remember the missing ingredient for his potion, an eye of fly.

Backtrack to the Second Floor by following the path back to the bridge and crossing it. Follow the path down under the archway. Ascend the stairs and walk through the entrance to the Second Floor. Follow the path forward. From the Central Island turn left and return to the Outhouses. Use 'Frog' on the Outhouse to collect a 'Fly'.

Time to return to the Hobblepots by turning right and walking back to the Central island. Go down the stairs to the the First Floor. Across the bridge to the right and follow the path. To your left will now be a Book of Spells. Press to turn the page and see some instructions on how to make a Bomb.

Notice we will need a Pea and a Rose. Backtrack to the Second floor by following the path to the bridge and crossing it. Ascending the stairs and following the path to the Central Island. In front of you will be the Goblin ladder with some kind of climbing plant growing under it.

Walk up to the plant and use 'Weed-Growing Potion' from your inventory. Time to explore the rest of the Second floor. All five villagers are trapped in a large chasm, including Wente's wife Brambles, who is also sick. You will have to choose between her and Mr. Fancycakes later, as there is only one dose of medicine. After you clean up all four cobwebs, you will be forced to return to your room, where you will be checked for contraband before going to bed.

Over each of the next days, you will be given one piece of meat, which you can either eat yourself at the table to gain strength you start at strength 1, the number of rocks attached to something indicates strength needed.

Your first priority is to regain your own strength, which will open up new pathways. Therefore, on the first two days eat the meat at the table. Using the web you got from the previous day, you can trick the guard on the third floor by sticking his hand to the lever. You are then able to enter the main puzzle area.

First, head all the way right where a sword in the stone can be found. Strength 2 is required to lift it, which you should have from eating the meat.

After getting the frying-pan sword, head back to the left and up along the edge of the main chamber. Climb up the cupboard and open the strength 2 door.

In this area, there are three rooms, one of which is blocked by a strength 3 door. Luckily you can recieve both of the items from the accessible two without any extra effort. First enter the small door on the right. A goblin has recreated a scene from "The Princess and the Pea," but will not allow you to retrieve the pea from the matresses. To trick her, you must play a lullaby on the music box to the left. Once you have set up the box with these notes, play the song by pulling the lever on the right.

This will put the "princess" to sleep and allow you to get the pea from the matress stack. After retrieving the pea, head up and to the right, where several goblins are attempting to turn a frog into a prince.

Luckily, you can help them! Head behind the curtain and you will find a small rock puzzle. You must lift the rock over the bar while it is held up, and then push it back to the right when it is on the ground.

If you have done it right, the rock will be on the button that opens the trapdoor. Then just head down and grab the frog! Once you have retrieved the frog, head back to the floor where the prisoners are being held.

Now that you are at strength 2, you can lower the drawbridges as shortcuts, but it is not neccessary. Head to the right, towards the potion brewers. The Hobblepots will tell you that they are trying to make a weed-killer potion, but can't remember the ingredients due to hunger. Give them the frog you gathered, and it will restore them. They will then tell you that they need the eye of a fly to complete the potion. Head back up to the third floor, where flies are buzzing around the outhouses to the left.

Use the frog to catch one, and return it to the Hobblepots. The potion-brewers will pour their concoction onto the cage, but it turns out they accidentally made a weed-grower!

They will throw it away in frustration, allowing you to grab it. They will then ask you to bring them ingredients for a bone bomb: peas and a flower. Luckily, you already have the pea, so you can just hand it over now. After giving your ingredients to the Hobblepots, head back up to the third floor and pour the potion onto the weeds in the center. It also happens to be the quickest route I've found, but there are many variations. For example, you can still save everyone even if you don't take advantage of the frog by giving it to the Hobblepots, but you may not be able to choose which prisoner you want to escape with.

This section starts at the first day where your choices matter. If you haven't completed the intro and the first spiderweb-cleaning day, do that first. He will leave you alone now. NOTE: Your choices in chapter 1 affect how happy the merchant is to see you!

Doing so will force you into the next day, so hold on to it for now. Do so! NOTE: You can get the PEA now if you like from the room on the right, even though you haven't technically found the answer to the puzzle.

I'll give more description later on as to how to solve this puzzle, but if you already know the solution go ahead and do it now if it makes you happy. Back upstairs with you. This time go left to Amaya's cell. You will be forced to go to bed now. Day 3 of choices: Poor Mr. He have been taken away during the night.

The hobblepots are looking pretty grim, so we'll need to pay attention to them or they'll be next. You can use the knob on the upper left to change the song there's 3 total. The knob below it on the left advances the song one note at a time.

There's 7 notes in a song. The handle on the right plays the full song for you. You can memorize or write down what colors correspond with each note paying special attention to the lullaby song. Don't worry, I'll give you the solution later, too. The flower ladder is grown now- climb it! You must save Mr. Fancycakes in order to get the wisdom page.

You will always end up with the bravery page. You can use the left and right arrows to change which note plays. After fixing one note, you can advance the reel by using the knob on the left. NOTE: You can also play the other two songs for fun but they won't advance the game. After moving a couple of screens it will wither, then it will die, so you have to do kind of a relay right now. Make sure you do NOT stray from the path outlined below. Continue down. It's still possible to still save everyone this way, but it's annoying and it might change how the rest of this section would go.

Go all the way to the right. Day 5 At this point, you can free whichever villager you want to be your companion through the rest of the chapter. If you want to break Amaya out, you need to deal with the last guard in her room. Fancycakes in the same playthrough. This section starts off on the first day where your decisions matter, so if you have not played through the intro or done the first spiderweb-cleaning day, go do that first.

Head upstairs and open the big wooden door past the theater. Continue on and find some goblins playing out Cinderella and talk to them.
